PART 2 @myBurgerLab OUG!
I will focus more on my view towards BurgerLab and my personal experience there :) GREAT THAT IF YOU WANT TO WORK THERE AND YOU NEED SOME SPECIAL ADVICE TO KICK START YOUR BLISSFULLY AWESOME JOB!

When we first enter in MBL, we were assigned various task in assembly line, working with senior geeks before us to learn about sauces, how to assemble buns and more. That was the easiest part of all, I can guarantee you! Especially if you have mentors like Steph or Shaun to guide you (they were nice at first, but they can be a pain in the arse when you get to know them better especially when they make fun of you OUCH MY PRIDE!). (try to put yourself in my shoes while you are reading what I am about to say) Usually, we wear hats and gloves while we are working in the kitchen, imagine while you are assembling the burgers, you got a lil, just a tiny bead of sweat entering your eye sight, that would be SO JUBILANT for you and for me and the entire universe~(OK I AM KINDA CHILDISH SORI!) Of course you would want to wipe it off because your sweats were SALTY like sea water, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE OFF YOUR GLOVE, WIPE YOUR EYE, SANITIZE YOUR HAND, PUT ON A NEW GLOVE AND THEN ONLY YOU CAN RESUME WORKING. (Oh you thought it is not that hard? YOU MUST ONLY HAVE A SINGLE BEAD OF SWEAT BRO), and the kitchen is like a furnace where you get free sauna every single day! Now you get it.) In the meantime, have you ever done major clean-up at home? HAHA, now bear in mind that you will have to do that every day after shift when you are all battered up after an exhausting day in the kitchen. (7 hours of standing without resting, I remember my first day where my tummy rumbled and my feet got fidgety, don't remind me of that, that's totally a nightmare for someone new.) The managers of the day are exceptionally stingy and sometimes jerk when it comes to that part, no offence HAHA, but they are usually kind yet strict, nice but cool! As far as I concerned, they demand things to be completely immaculate, not a single dust is allowed or else you will be busted! (To be honest, that's one of the reason why I think MBL is successful today, they emphasize on cleanliness and be circumspect on the quality of the food. Being uncompromising in their services and food has always been something they uphold!)

The most precious I learn there is to keep pushing yourself to break the boundaries, get the shits out of your comfort zone. You never know how dangerous it is to stay in your comfort zone and get adapted. I met a friend there, (not gonna mention her name) the particular person thought that it was an embarrassment to be working a part time job. But you know what, most embarrassing thing is she couldn't let go of her pride and dignity. To me, she's already had an utmost courageous to enter MBL, why bother intoxicating yourself with this kind of mindset. Most people our age are still like plants in the greenhouse, waiting to be fed by parents, yet we are the ones who work for our lives and earn money for ourselves. People shall be flabbergasted by our bravery instead of looking down upon us. I know it is a bitter pill to swallow for most people, but best medicines are made out of bitter-est taste! What doesn't hurt you makes you stronger, right? Clay can be molded and reshaped, over and over, but if it gets too dry and sets, then there's only so much you can do with it. It's now or never, we are on the age of growing, which means the more we delay changing ourselves into a better person, the harder we get to choose it in the future. Does it worth your time to ponder? You get to choose about it. 'The secret of change is to channel all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new!' -Socrates.

Let me ask you a simple question, if i were to put half a glass of water in front of you now, would you say it's half full, or would you say it's half empty? A positive person would say half full, conversely, a negatively instilled person would say the latter one. Same goes to working MBL, I have seen people failing and start to have the notion to give up. A lot of people in the society today are taught to fear making mistakes, but none realized that mistakes are actually a chance for you to improve, to learn. But a question arises, we won't make mistakes if we don't try new things. You can't fall if you don't climb, that's true, but there's no joy in living on the ground, and where's the pleasure of maintaining your feet on the same ground over and over again? Rather than surrendering to fate, I recommend you to stand on your feet. Fell down 7 times, I don't care if you were told badly or being looked down, you just gonna get yourself up 8 times, no matter if it's crawling, climbing, or anything, YOU HAVE TO STAND UP AND PROVE TO PEOPLE, YOU ARE BETTER THAN THEY THOUGHT. Being defeated is often a temporary condition, giving up is permanent. If it's me, I wouldn't want to be said the loser who never excel in anything.

I just want to say, pain is what makes a person hero. It's like a pressure that either grinds you into dust or forms you a diamond!
Life was good before I met her hehe -Steph
