STPM Form 6 VS Matrikulasi VS College PART 1

To begin with, I have requested a few of my peers to share their experience with y'all regarding to their lives in STPM Form 6, Matrikulasi or College. (Oh yea, if you think that they are not qualified enough to guide you, take note that most of them excel in studies, some of them had even graduated from college, and are now on the way to University!)

Just a simple introduction for you before getting started. To those who are still confuse with the life after Form 5 SPM and have yet to make up your mind, be sure to read this and make the right decision!
The 'usual' path to a better education!
First of all, let's take everything into consideration and do not make decision hastily. Do you think your family is financially stable? Do you have any specific course in mind? Have you got supports from your family members? Whats's your dream?

Now, let's focus on what you can do after SPM. I believe that most of the people would directly go to the first blue arrow in the picture, getting enrolled into a good college, and spend the rest of the year there. Note that, once you are in private college (Eg: Sunway University College, UTAR, etc), you are limited to private university (IPTS) after college. IPTS is where you spend 4 years after finishing your course in college (Eg: AUSMAT, FIA, FIS, ADTP, etc) for tertiary education.

Next, Form 6 (the second blue arrow). Most of the people would avoid this path as they have heard the myths of Form 6 being one of the hardest Pre-U education in the world, YES, YOU HEARD IT RIGHT, HARDEST. Form 6 is hard, it's true, but only legends are able to conquer the hardest quest in life right? Are you a legend? Good news is, after form 6, you will be able to go for public university(IPTA) to enjoy four years of free education yayy. Of course, you can also go for IPTS in your favor, but you will have to ace in your studies!

Moving on, we have matrikulasi(third blue arrow). Matrikulasi aka matriks (in short) is one of the rare golden opportunity for non-bumiputeras' like Chinese and Indians to further their studies in Pre-U as ONLY 10% of the seats are opened to non-bumiputeras. It's free just like Form 6! Not a single penny to be used for education-wise in Matriks! And you would still get to go for IPTA in future! But take note that, the certificate for matriks is NOT internationally recognized, if you fail to obtain any seats in public university, you might need to think twice about your future!

Last but not least, MARA. I am not familiar with this part of Pre-U, hopefully you guys don't mind! But, from what I know, MARA usually takes in bumiputeras ONLY.
